Red Cedar

(Juniperus virginiana) Medium sized tree. Bluish green fragrant leaves are short scales in overlapping pairs forming 4 sided twigs. Male cones 3-4 mm long, abundant on tip of small twigs shed pollen  Mature female cones appear as bluish black glaucous berries.
